Can I take the prerequisite courses at a community college or online?
Yes, we will accept in-person, hybrid, and online courses from an accredited institution.
Can I defer my acceptance to another semester if I am offered admission?
Yes, you can defer your acceptance by one semester.
Are there any part-time or online options available for the program?
No, the program is full-time and has no online options.
Do all prerequisite courses need to be completed when I apply for the program?
No, you can apply with pending prerequisite courses.
Does Watts College of Nursing offer a diploma program?
No, the college no longer offers a diploma program. Students will earn a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) upon completion.
How long is the program?
The BSN program is a two-year, full-time program.
Does the BSN program require admission interviews?
No, but Watts College of Nursing reserves the right to interview and interface with an applicant in determining eligibility for acceptance.
Is there a time limit on being out of school before returning?
No, we welcome all applicants that meet our admissions requirements.

Do Advanced Placement (AP) courses taken in high school count toward prerequisites?
Yes, Watts College of Nursing awards transfer credit for approved College Board Advanced Placement (AP) examinations. The minimum scored required is 3.
Do you require a CNA certification or a degree to apply to Watts College of Nursing?
No, Watts College of Nursing does not require a specific certification or degree.
Do you accept transfer credits from other accredited and approved Registered Nurse (RN) nursing programs?
Yes, Watts College of Nursing limits transfer credit for nursing courses from other accredited and approved RN programs. We accept no more than 30 credit hours of nursing, and the final two semesters of nursing must be completed at Watts College of Nursing.
