ATI TEAS

The ATI TEAS, or Test of Essential Academic Skills, is a standardized test designed specifically to assess a student's preparedness for entering the health science fields.

Prospective students must create an ATI student account, register for the TEAS Online Remote Proctored Exam, and follow the quick start guide on how to take the ATI TEAS remote proctored exam.

What is the cost of the TEAS exam?

The cost is $120 and will be made available to you when you schedule your exam.

Who will administer the test and where will it be administered?

The test will be administered by ATI’s partner, Proctorio, to virtually proctor assessments.

 What sections of the TEAS do I need to take?

Science, Reading, Math, and English & Language Usage content section and subsection of the ATI TEAS test. 

Which test version do I schedule to take?

ATI TEAS, Version 7

How long are test scores valid?

Test results are valid for 24 months.

How much time will I receive to take the test?

You will be given 209 minutes to complete the exam.

Is there a minimum score?

You must obtain a mean score for English of 75 (average of Reading and English & Language Usage) and a score of 70 for Math and Science. 

How often can I take the test?

You can take the exam a maximum of two times every 12 months.

Do you accept the HESI exam?

The HESI exam is no longer accepted. 

Is there a way to prepare for the test?

ATI recommends that you allow yourself at least six weeks to prepare for the exam. There are a variety of prep resources available to help you study for the test:
